Did not finish book. Stopped at 21%.
I'm sorry but I just didn't enjoy this.
At first it was intriguing. The Irish small town setting, weird family dynamics, coming of age; these were what made me push forward. But it just wasn't enough after a while.
The writing style not using any indications for speech/conversations were a nice change at first but became quite tiresome quite quickly.
This was my first book of the author and maybe I am not the intended audience for his stories - which is perfectly fine. That's why I DNFed it.
