Did not finish book. Stopped at 0%.

I’m tired of waiting for this series to get somewhere. In general I like Hamish, but I dislike M.C. Beaton’s habit of undoing any progress from a previous book at the beginning of the next book. We always start back over from square one with the characters and relationships, goodbye to the growth and promise from the end of a previous book. It was like this in the series about Agatha Raisin too. I love a cozy mystery which is why I read so many, but I’m stopping now to read books with better character development and that handle female characters with more respect.
