Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney

4.0

A free weekend away in an isolated cabin is going to determine if Adam and his wife stay together. Each year for their anniversary, his wife writes him a letter she doesn't allow him to read... until this year. Ten years of marriage holds a lot of secrets and lies...

You know Alice Feeney is going to send you down a rabbit hole and throw a huge twist (or two) at you. She writes in such a way that you become invested early on but have the ability to keep track of the numerous storylines and characters and then BAM, she makes your head spin.

At first, I thought "oh it's so sweet they follow the year anniversary gift traditions and play rock, paper, scissors to solve all of their questions- I wish my husband and I did that". I changed my mind realllll quick. This book was a little slow in the beginning and harder to get into for me, but the twists were bigger than I expected. All in all, it was another success from Feeney. This is definitely a good spooky, domestic thriller you'll want to read with the lights on.
