I thought this book sounded interesting and the cupcake on the cover grabbed my attention. However, the book didn’t hold my attention as easily.

The MC is having a case of Murphy’s Law. However, decided to turn lemons to lemonade… or pastries… or cupcakes. However, a murder just so happens to occur in the middle of her trying to turn things around.

The story itself wasn’t bad. It was a quick read. I can’t say it left me wanting to dive into the rest of the series.
