Something in Between is such a powerful book. It's definitely eye-opening. Seeing Jasmine struggle felt so real. One moment she was living the American Dream and then the next it came crashing down on her. It was captivating to see her life as it went on this crazy rollercoaster. I personally am an immigrant, though I came legally I can relate to Jasmine when she feels torn between two countries and the constant feeling of belonging.

It's such an important topic and I think everyone should read about it. Even though some parts of the book annoyed the crap out of me I still enjoyed the whole 'struggle' factor of it.
