Make It Happen: Manifest the Life of Your Dreams by Jordanna Levin

3.0

This book definitely helped me to view my life from another viewpoint and consider all the ways I can change pretty much everything, with just a change of attitude.
From having a very negative mind, manifestation can be really hard as it requires you to keep an open, positive mind. I would get into the zone and start to visualise the things that I want for myself and my life, but then all the negative thoughts would come crashing down on me. I think it’s a matter of patience and practice.
The little exercises dotted throughout the book were really helpful for me to put into practice the things I had just learnt.
It really felt as though Jordanna was my friend helping me through, guiding me and being that little helpful and uplifting voice when I needed it. The tone and atmosphere of the book was not only kind and comforting, but also abrupt and to the point. There was no beating around the bush or lying to make you feel better. It was “you need to do this” and “you can’t be slacking in this” and that was good. If there’s too much niceness, people just don’t bother heeding the advice that’s given. It was very effective.

This book was super helpful, but definitely one that I'll need to read at least once more so that I can absorb everything even more. It’s been nice dipping in and out of this book whenever I felt as though I needed a little bit of extra help. Even if you end up not manifesting after having read this book, I still think you’ll come away having learnt some very valuable lessons on how to view your life.
