jdsatori 's review for:

The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky
3.0

it's not that this wasn't worth the read, it's just that a month after carrying it around, i'd read half of it, and part one had the same plot as part 2. that is, subsets of characters hanging out in parlors, talking. and here, fighting. as i started part 3, i made a bet with myself that i could predict the remaining 350 pages.

but it's a compelling story, with some beautiful and anxious characters, so i'll definitely finish it -- and give it a proper review -- someday.
