Leather & Lark
by Brynne Weaver
6 STARS: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I wish I could rate this book higher than five because that is what it deserves. I was blown away by just how much heart and laughter could be in this dark/gorey world Weaver has created (and TBH was a little worried the second book wouldn't live up to B&B) but I got what I have been impatiently waiting for and so much more. I loved the glimpses of Lachlan and Lark in B&B but this book just made me want to reach out and give them the biggest hugs because they were so perfect for each other from the beginning, their stories so similar, their desires for protection so fierce but it came from both of their worst traumas. I listened to the audiobook and the narrators knocked it out of the park bringing these two wonderful characters to life. Just overall a fantastic book that may end up being my book of the year. If you haven't already run and read B&B then devour this next because you will not be disappointed.
P.S. THAT BONUS CHAPTER
