A vintage Carl Hiassen.
Even though it is formulaic, the humour is still there as is the poignancy. This book is also more scathing about the Trump Presidency than any of the tell-all books out there. Skink is there but his presence is more of a guest appearance, which is fine, given that the character has been with us for a long time.
