I’m not religious but it does feel weird to give such a blasphemous book such a high rating. I stand by it though 🤷🏽‍♀️

First off, I was told that this book is filthy and I was not disappointed. Oooof 😅

That’s not the only part I enjoyed, though. After deconstructing my faith I tend to avoid reading books like this, but the ideas in here were actually so beautiful. I never felt uncomfortable with the talk of feeling god, or wanting to know god. The balance that this author had with religion, grief, hope, and love was done very well imo.

This is insta-love, which I’m a fan of. Definitely going to keep reading Simone’s books.
