Some of this was interesting, some of it was useful. Some of it was nonsense. And some of it was just not feasible to look to for advice or even comfort. I lost track of how many thousands she spent moving across the country and trying alternative treatments. I think the biggest takeaway is that we are desperately in need of doctors that listen with empathy.
