An interesting look into the mind of an evil president before he truly rose to power. This villain origin story is unlike any other in that there is no shift from good to bad. He’s simply selfish from beginning to end and let’s all his goals cloud his better judgement. I put off reading this book for years and am glad I finally picked it up. My mind will forever juggle other the mystery of Lucy Gray.
