Bats are one of my favorite animals so this book was really up my alley. I’m by no means a scientist but Merlin didn’t muck up his prose with jargon so it was easy to understand. I loved all the stories about his near-death experiences and converting people into bat-lovers. It’s crazy to think such a small, harmless creature can be so feared.
