This book was everything is needed to be truly heartbreaking but inspiring in its truest form. Even though the characters Vianna and Isabelle were fictional, you know there similar stories from people who endured the war but were heroic and survived. This book was written beautifully and i did love that you was not sure which sister had survived. I cannot believe i have only read this book now!
