Happy Place by Emily Henry

5.0

Emily Henry, I already need more.
So much of the main character, Harriet, resonates with me. Her and Wynn's growth within this story is so validating and encouraging. I loved each of them individually and together and was rooting for them from the start. This is not a happy go lucky rom com. This is a personal journey for the main character alongside the timeline of a broken up couple being forced into each other's orbit again.  The writing and the banter of this just hits perfectly with me. I love the way the stories of friendships, relationships, and personal discovery are portrayed is so realistic and clicks with me in such a way that at times I wondered if Emily Henry stole my non exist diary.
12/10 recommend if you want to fall more in love with Emily Henry's writing and characters while also maybe probably crying a few times.
