Second book in the Backyard Goblin Gods series. I seriously had been itching for a series I’d hate putting down. This has been it.
Lady MC is strong, tenacious, and driven; but deeply damaged. Goblin MC is patient, steady, and protective. It’s been wonderful tagging along on their adventure together.
Much like the first book the author doesn’t shy away from uncomfortable settings and situations direction your love and empathy for the characters. With that said the book has a “trigger warning” section that should not be ignored.
The spice in this book was perfectly balanced with an absorbing story.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
