Another reread. This series is probably my favorite series ever, but I have a few issues with this book. When we met John Matthew, he was a pretrans, and I think I will always see him as that. I also found it kinda gross that Xhex was super old and he was just out of his transition......so like 23 ish? So far, in every book Xhex was a bad ass, but at the end of this one it’s like she does a 180 and goes all girly, I found it very out of character.
