Wow!
This tale lends itself perfectly to being read aloud. It harkens back to when people sat around fires and told stories late into the night.
The narrator is PERFECT. She has the accents and intonation down pat. She makes you feel like you are with the characters.
The characters and plot are engaging. So that even if you figure out the salient points, instead of boredom you feel like a repeat of a favorite movie.
There is a little violence. No steam, although sex is mentioned. It is mostly adult themes that might be an issue for some teen readers.
I highly recommend this book to everyone. It is definitely one of my favorites!
