lounic 's review for:
I'm Glad My Mom Died
by Jennette McCurdy
dark
emotional
funny
reflective
sad
medium-paced
heartbreaking, humorous, and insightful. i'm not a regular audiobook enjoyer, but when it comes to memoirs and true autobiographies, there's something really special about hearing their story from their own words. mccurdy wrote and spoke with a perfect pace and i'm so glad she is able to do what she has always loved now.
what she went through was so disturbing but i'm glad she felt empowered enough to change the tide and share her story. i'm sure this is a very important book for her and others who have gone through something similar. read this!!!
