Did not finish book. Stopped at 42%.

I really, really wanted to enjoy it bc the concept was so interesting, but the pacing was so slow and i was just not really into it at all, i just couldnt click with it, i couldnt click with the characters, i didnt connect with any of it at all, and i tried to keep reading in the hopes I would eventually like it, but whats the point of forcing yourself to read something youre not enjoying, esp when youre already struggling to read
