The Lost Wife
by Alyson Richman
I simply could not put this book down. While I was unable to read it in a day or even two days, it was so wonderfully written, such a fabulous concept, and such a lovely (and sad) story, I really wish my life had allowed me to devour it so quickly.
Like so many of the best novels set during the Holocausts, the author does a wonderful job of weaving beauty and horror, humanity and inhumanity.
Beautiful novel.
