Skeleton Key by Anthony Horowitz

3.0

I really enjoyed how much darker this book got, and how much more Alex had to see.
It was off to a great start, a truly terrifying psychopath, a fascinating setting, etc. The mysteries were connected really well, and the gadgets and obstacles were very creative.

In the last quarter of the book though, it felt like Alex kept getting lucky being in the right place at the right time than furthering the plot himself like he did in the first books.
