I loved this, I couldn't put it down! It was like nothing I have ever read before, and if I hadn't heard so many good things about it I probably would't have picked it up by myself.
The story follows Katniss, who volunteers herself into the Hunger Games in place of her younger sister Prim. The players of the Hunger Games must fight to the death, as there can only be 1 victor.
The story was exciting, plenty of action, lots of unexpected twists and turns and the ending was fantastic - you want to read the next one immediately!
I definately recommend this book, and think it would be an enjoyable read for anyone regardless of what genre they usually read.
