I'll try keep this spoiler free but ever since being aware of this book series I have always wanted to read it. It's absolutely incredible. Everyone has there own interpretations but as someone who is Neurodivergent I have felt like Divergents is a metaphor for that. This incredible book tells us its wrong to categories people into one thing, essentially addressing the ableist system we have in society.

Its really impressive throughout as we follow Tris through her journey of accepting herself. We see the struggles she has to face in a society that she doesn't conform to. This maybe because I'm Neurodivergent but I found her very relatable and likeable throughout.

Other side characters were brilliant such as Four/Tobias, Christiana, Will, Al, Caleb and Tori. She has amazing friends and enemies that go on their own journeys but are also there to help develop Tris. Absolutely incredible. Tobias also goes on an incredible character as Tris allows him to become more vulnerable. Enemies to Lovers is one of my absolute favourite dynamics as it creates character development and makes the characters grow for the better.

I also liked how the villian wasn't really one certain character it was the faction system that had corrupted the characters in certain ways.

Can't wait to read the next book.
