It has been maybe a million years give or take since I last read a book in one sitting. Like this almost NEVER happens what with busy teacher/toddler mom life but this book was very HIGHLY addictive, I seriously couldn’t put it down!!
I’ll begin with how much I admired the heroine. Ayla Beros is extremely resilient in the face of endless foes and fears. Growing up a hated outcast in her family and despised by everyone from all the Zodiac wolf packs (save for her awesome bestie Mira and big bro Wesley), my heart both ached nonstop after experiencing this girl’s trauma, as well as rejoiced as she begins to find herself throughout the narrative. I’ve not yet read a paranormal romance with the rejected mate trope and I find I’m super into it!
I immediately obsessed over Kaden Shaw (alpha of the lost and widely hated pack), the community he leads, and the piping hot chemistry between him and Ayla. I was so excited to find that this book is a true adult fantasy romance with tons of sexual tension and spice! I cannot express how much I need the next book and have no clue how I shall survive until then!!
