Much like the last two in this series, I'm just so frustrated with how Peter treats Lara Jean. I loved the moments where Lara Jean stood up for herself and what she wanted, which showed a lot of growth between the last book and this one, and while there were times when Peter was great, he still seems to not treat her how she wants to be treated.

That said, Lara Jean is fantastic as always and really carries this whole series as a fantastic main character. It was a really sweet and quite hopeful ending which is nice.

This is really one of the few times that I think the movies were better than the books, but that's definitely my feeling in these. The movies do a good job of taking the not-so-great aspects of characters and making them just overall better people that you want to root for.

All in all, I probably won't reread this series, but I certainly think they're cute and worth a read. I just wish the characters (outside of Lara Jean) had been a bit more loveable.
