While it started a tad slow, as the plot thickened, the pace picked up and I found the details more interesting. While in many ways I was able to guess the plot twists, a few still surprised me and ultimately, the characters delighted me.
I don’t want to give away plot points, but I appreciated the love affair and Dinah is a brilliant little girl, who is decidedly autistic and written so well both as a character and in everyone’s reactions to her given the historical setting.
