Black and white. Dark, stark, very grim. Great artwork. Limited use of very pale colouring. Mostly beige.

The plot is something else. Just as dark, stark and grim. Horrible, really. Very minimalist. A dystopian horror that shows the worst humanity is capable of. And in the middle of it is a father and his son, starving, trying to survive and clinging to the belief that there is still goodness left in people.

I think it‘s about time that I read the original.

Really very good.
