I really enjoyed this book and I'm so glad all the stories are finally in one physical book! Magnus is one of my favorite characters in the Shadowhunter world and it's great to learn more about him - even though I could learn more! The stories provide a lot background and shows how much Magnus has changed over the years up until the present. It's easy to see how the years he's lived and the things he's seen have weighed heavily on him and has affected how he approaches life. It definitely gives more about him than the main series and will likely give me a new perspective of him when I get the chance to reread the Mortal Instruments series.
