I absolutely adored this book. As a medical professional, sometimes it is hard to read books discussing medical events, procedures, medications, etc because they’re just not accurate and it ruins it for me. This book went into just enough detail (to not feel like a work article) and was accurate enough that I didn’t feel lied to or mislead. 

I also loved that one of the main characters *a man* was neurodivergent and it wasn’t viewed as a flaw. I saw so much of myself in Jacob, from working in medicine to having anxiety and the mental back and forth he had all throughout his day to choosing the Emergency Department. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It just hit home.

This is a good one, I absolutely loved it!!
