I thought this book was better than the musical because how Evans anxiety was more shown. The writing style wasn't the best, i guess it was mediocore (???), but i wasn't really expecting anything different. But honestly the musical and the book feel like two different things because of so many things. BUT after reading more it was painfully obvious the musicals was better in so many ways. And this book should probably be read by fans who loved the musical. Also the mentions of the music and the jokes in the musical was so badly written (at least for me). I kinda/kinda not regret reading this book.
btw if you have any respect for Conners character, don't read this novel
