The Julian Chapter by R.J. Palacio

4.0

Sometimes it's good to start over again.
The Julian chapter was a perfect ending to this book Wonder. I believed this guy was mean and a bully but I forgot he was also a ten years old kid who was making his way through his childhood.
After reading his side of story, I was not at all mad at him. I kind of felt sad for Julian, too. When everyone in his school decided to boycott him, that made this little kid sad too.
But, this was just the repercussions of his behaviour right from the beginning.
And, I don't want to blame him for his bellicose behaviour. It was his parents who forgot the fine line between love and over possessiveness. They were justifying his bad behaviour.
It was when his grandma narrated her own story, he changed. And, I loved that part. I am happy with this ending.
