I was hooked from the synopsis so I had to keep going. They’ve known each other since they were kids and being Grady’s best friend’s little sister has made Jill completely off limits. When they start working together on a project to save her job and boost his career while out on injury Grady starts to see Jill as the woman she’s become and they help each other delve through trauma, heal, developing their friendship throughout the process. Summer fling with end date. There is a third act break up. The book was filled with cutesy moments but there was a lot of jumping to conclusions and times where they could’ve said how they felt about one another but didn’t.
