Lock Every Door
by Riley Sager
Yet another example of why you should never trust a building with a dumbwaiter.
A good steady thriller, though I feel it wasn't quite as gripping as Riley Sagers previous 2 (which I couldn't put down). I did like Jules. She was well fleshed out as a character, along with most of her delightful neighbours. Though the story itself unfolded quite fast, with everything taking place within a single week. I think things could have been drawn out a little more, as the pace felt rushed at times. I also felt the brief introduction to possible satanic rituals wasn't really necessary, and it didn't really contribute enough to the story to be mentioned.
That said, still a decent read, with a good ole twist and a satisfying conclusion. 4/5.
