I enjoyed this but felt I was plopped into the middle of an already going story so there were a few characters that would pop up and I wouldn't know what their relationship was. Oh well! It's a well drawn, interesting time in a diner with oddball co-workers and patrons in a drug-fuelled Oakland in the 70s. I now want to read the previous graphic novel to help put those missing pieces together.
