1. Booooooooooringggggggg. Like, no plot or character development whatsoever.
2. Hoffman, there’s more to Judaism than Kabbalah...
3. Yael sounded like an over dramatic angsty teen.
4. Yes we get it. She’s Jewish and life is terrible. You don’t have to keep verbalizing that.
5. Totally unbelievable, unrelatable characters.
6. Flippant treatment of cutting/self-harm.
7. A really stupid affair with a guy who “really belonged to his family still... no, he really does!” *gags* *rolls eyes*
And all this by page 80?!
... So I guess I’m done trying this author out... two duds one right after another. 🙄🤦🏽♀️😡
