here is my grand and miraculous unpopular opinion:

I got bored.

and life is too short to not connect with books that don’t connect with you.

this book is perfect for someone (and multiple someone’s judging by how popular this book is!), but that someone is not me. and that’s okay!! different books exist because everyone has different opinions, likes and dislikes.

I loved loved loved the back and forth between the two timelines of when quinn first met graham and years later when their marriage is rapidly dissolved.

what I didn’t love was the characters themselves. they were so self absorbed, AND REFUSED TO COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER, and then ... when they actually talked, they wouldn’t understand where the other was coming from.

if there’s one thing I can’t handle in tropes, it’s that 😅👍🏼

also I finished this after watching multiverse of madness and I’m equally annoyed at both so maybe that had something to do with that lmao
