My 7 year old daughter has read this over. And over. AND OVER.
At least once a day since her brother got it for Christmas (she stole it immediately). I was a little worried it might be a bit too scary, because there were a lot of scenes of animals looking scared and being experimented on. But she was fine with all of it. It's a really cute story with great art. Her 5 year old brother seems enthusiastic, generally, when he's gotten to see it, but he might be a little young for it.
