Friends… the way this book had me in a chokehold, wow. Tears were shed and I don’t have words! This book was amazing from beginning to end. Somehow this book manages to keep you engaged with the plot, while educating you about the Philippines, and addressing social issues all simultaneously and cohesively. Y’all, I’m telling you- I have no words. A definite must read!
