Dear America: Notes of an Undocumented Citizen
by Jose Antonio Vargas
The whole book was great but those last few chapters I can't even think of the best word to describe. Insightful? Educational? Eye-opening? None of those feel like the right descriptor. But I'd recommend this book to everyone. If you don't know anything about immigration or undocumented people in the US, this is a great place to start. If you think of yourself as an expert on the topic, then this first person narrative offers a unique perspective and is absolutely worth the read, no matter your stance on the topic.
