This book isn't too far from 13 Thirteen Reasons Why except the main character somewhat has a personality. The ending downplays the traumatic experience for Violet and it's tagged on at the last minute. She wouldn't be optimistic after losing another person in her life. Not a fan of the book romanticizing depression.
