I enjoyed the book. I thought the leads were fine but they weren’t my favorites from Briar U. I really liked Brenna in Summer’s book so I wanted a bit more. I really liked the last 25% of the book. The vulnerability and the angst and the way she repaired her relationship with her father was so heartwarming. I thought Brenna’s goals about going into sports journalism was so cool and I liked her character more as the story went on. I also liked that Hollis got his own redemption and girlfriend sideplot.

though I wish his girlfriend wasn’t constantly classified as annoying or weird while being the only poc. I wish we had more likable moments with her so I could grow to like her more.

also Fitz and Summer were cute.
