I always enjoy a queer rom com with rogues and knights and secret kissing. And in that sense, this book delivered. I think the first 85% of the book was strong and compelling, but the last climax of the book was confusing and rushed. I think the book could have used 50-100 more pages to slow down and round things out.

Otherwise the plot twists were well executed, the characters were all deeply endearing, and everyone was kind and enjoyable to root for.
