Bite the Biscuit by Linda O. Johnston

3.0

When a local woman turns up dead, Carrie, the owner of the Barkery, is a suspect because the two had words at the store’s grand opening. When the police question, Carrie decides she needs to do some investigating to prove her innocence.

I found BITE THE BISCUIT to be a very predictable cozy mystery. It’s the first in a series but I probably won’t continue with it because I didn’t get attached to any of the characters and I didn’t think the mystery was particularly well constructed.
