Precinct 13 by Tate Hallaway

Fun and easy to read. The premise of a medical examiner who investigates the unusual circumstances surrounding the small town is enjoyable. The plot twists are obviously foreshadowed in the book, so I knew what was coming long before it occurred. The main character is a little silly at times but is overall likeable.

I didn't realize this was a romance book when I ordered it from the library, and likely wouldn't have gotten had I known. The romance is cute but nothing titillating occurs mere soft touches on the cheek and allusions to sexy time. Not that I would have preferred that it border on erotica but I suppose with it being categorized as romance it was odd that there was no actual sex in the book.

All that being said, I liked the book and would read more by this author when I'm in the need of something fluffy.
