It’s very rare that you read a series and you’re so engrossed in it that as the last page comes into view, your heart is aching for the book to not end. For their to be just one more chaos yet, just one more glimpse into those favorite characters. Sarah J Mass, you are an absolutely queen and hands down my favorite and number 1 author. Each book that I read written by you transports me, introspection me and awes me beyond wonder! ACOTAR series is where I began my journey with your books and now ToG.

Coming back to the book, crown of midnight is a sequel to the throne of glass series and we learn more about Celaena and her journey to get rid of the evil. When the first book in the series is a hit, the expectation for the sequel twofold and this book does disappoint! Without giving spoiler, as this is a series which I’ve seen a lot of Bookstagrammer’s are currently reading, I’ll probably go over my favorite bits of it. The first of all being the evil eye symbol. Coming from an Indian origin, evil eye 🧿 is something that I’ve grown to hearing tales about and seeing that analogy here warmed my heart. It’s not often that I see Indian traditions or beliefs being mentioned in bestsellers. This is a story about a girl growing into herself, changing her weaknesses into strength and at the same time enjoying her teenage life as she should! Chaol and Dorian get their parts as well and we get to see their lives and thoughts throughout Celaena’s journey as the King’s Champion. If I go into any more details I’ll end up giving spoilers which I don’t want to, so I’ll stop here.

Being an ACOTAR fan I’ve got so many questions about some of the story lines. I know ACOTAR has been published after ToG but is it just me or does Chaol remind you of Azriel? I can’t wait for the next book in the series to come and I hope it’s about Azriel! Another point is do you think that maybe Tamlin and Celaena belong to the same family maybe? Also, I’ve seen there is a parallel between these two world in the last few books of ToG series but what are your thoughts on it?
