The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent

3.0

3.5 stars rounded down. I enjoyed this book a lot, but the spelling and grammar mistakes took me out of the story quite a few times. There was also a lack of worldbuilding, which is annoying anytime, but especially when done in order to try and have a more impactful “reveal” at the end. Overall, the technical writing was not good, but I did really like the story. (Especially the romance subplot.) Because of that alone, I’m anxious to see what happens in the next book.
