Everybody Has a Podcast (Except You): A How-To Guide from the First Family of Podcasting by Griffin McElroy, Justin McElroy, Travis McElroy

funny inspiring fast-paced

5.0

If you're looking to start a podcast, this book should be number one on your to-do list. This is one of the few books that I've ever read that touts itself as a guide to starting a project and actually takes you through doing that project in an engaging and entertaining way. The advice is honest and straightforward, but never demoralizing. I don't currently have any plans to start a podcast, but this had me walking away thinking about doing one. I also shared it with my husband who is starting up a new podcast and it was the perfect inspiration for him. I'd definitely recommend this as a gift for that friend who always talks about getting in front of a microphone and getting to work!

(As a note, this copy was gifted to me by Harper Perennial. This in no way changes my opinion of the book, it's just this dang good.)
