Suicide Notes from Beautiful Girls by Lynn Weingarten

I'm about 2/3 of the way through and I can't quite get a feeling for this book. I have to say I'm not loving the man character June. She's just too passive and easily lead by pthers. The premise of the story is that her former best friend Delia dies by suicide by fire....or is she murdered. She begins to track down Delia's last hours and friends to unravel the story.
