Jane Harper is an auto-buy author for me, so when I heard she had another book coming out I was so excited.  I don't read suspense/thrillers often, but Harper's books always suck me right in.  As usual, I got pulled right into the mystery in this small coastal town in a small town in Tasmania where a you woman who is there as a seasonal worker turns up dead.  As the town tries to deal with this horrific event and try to find out who was responsible, secrets from the past are dug up and brought to light.
.
Overall I really enjoyed the mystery that was the central plot of the story.  It kept me turning the pages and keep me guessing until the end.  There were definitely a lot of characters but I didn't find it difficult to keep track of them.  My only beef with this book was the ending.  It felt very abrupt and the way things were "resolved" felt very strange to me. I can't go into much detail without spoilers but I am curious to know what others thought of the ending.
